How are we organized?
Best Practice - Product Organization vs. Project organization
Instead of organizing around projects or functional areas, we build teams around the products and services we create for our customers.
Unlike in a traditional project team, being part of a product team means working closely with users, technology, and business stakeholders. You help identify opportunities, prioritize what to build next, and see the impact of your work in practice. In other words, you become part of a team with long-term ownership of a product or service. This gives you the opportunity to follow solutions over time, measure the value they create, and continuously improve them based on real user needs.
This way of working is becoming increasingly common across IT and technology organizations because digital products are rarely ever “finished.” They need to be maintained, improved, and adapted to evolving user expectations and changing market demands.
Our product teams are cross-functional, bringing together specialists from different disciplines. Depending on the product, you may work closely with software engineers, designers, product managers, analysts, architects, and business specialists. Together, you are responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and development to operations and continuous improvement.
If you enjoy collaborating across disciplines, are curious about how technology creates value for customers, and are motivated by continuously improving products and services over time, you will thrive in our product organization.
